Isaiah - Hospital ER (again)

On May 20th - We had to rush Isaiah to the ER. He had his 18 month old vaccinations earlier that day and later on towards the evening - he was having some kind of reaction to them. He started spiking a fever (which is typical after vaccines) but he started having involuntary body twitching (tremor-like). We didn't know if he was having a seizure or what. He came and curled up next to me on the couch and put his head on me and his body kept twitching. At first i just thought he was being a typical 18 month old - moving around alot like he does - but than he looked at me as if to say "Hey mom, what's happening?"

We called the pediatricians office and the on-call nurse said take him to ER. This particular Tuesday evening appeared to be a busy night for ER. We got there at 9:45pm and ended up not being seen until 2:30am and got home around 4am.

They ran some blood work and said everything was alright and to just keep an eye on him.

This was very scary - because we didn't know what was happening.
