Goodbye 2008

Well, it's that time again. Time to say goodbye to 2008 and welcome in another new year.

Lets reflect on some of the going ons for 2008.

January - Isaiah got his first haircut, went to his first circus. (He fell asleep half way thru it)

February - Isaiah was in the Baby Mister Weeki Wachee pageant. He won first prize for best eyes, best swim wear, best dressed and was crowned "Prince". (runner-up)
He threw a temper tantrum on stage right in front of the judges and lost because of it)

March/April - We dealt with Isaiah in and out of doctors offices and hospital ER.

May - Isaiah had surgery to have tubes put in his ears and have his adenoids removed. This was to allow better drainage for his ears and clear up the many infections he kept getting.

June - My grandfather bought a manufactured home on 1.35 acres for us to live on an
d pay him rent. We had been struggling and couldn't afford our house in Land O Lakes any longer - so we basically walked away from it. It's currently up for sale but only a few people have looked at it.

I also quit Dr. Lupo's office after 9 years. This was one of the hardest decisions i ever had to make. My hours were basically reduced to one to two days and i felt like i didn't belong any more.

My cousins from Oklahoma came down for a visit.

July - Went to see Poison, Sebastian Bach & Dokken in concert.

August - Celebrated the one year anniversary of our Final Adoption of Isaiah.

My friends Chuck & Kari & kids came down from Illinois and we visited them in Orlando.

September - Reconnected with Tony's sister & her family (whom had another baby)

October - Took Isaiah trick or treating

November - Had a big "2" birthday for Isaiah at the house with a bounce house. He had lots of fun!

Tony & I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary.

On a sad note - Midnight (our cat) died. He was 11 1/2 years old.

December - Celebrated Christmas with family and reconnected with Tonys parents on Christmas Eve after almost a year and a half.

We have watched our little boy grow up so fast this past year. It amazes us everytime he does or says something new. We are like - "Where did he learn that at?"
We are very blessed to have him in our life!
