Emotional Weekend - Part 2

OKay - so back to Sunday. My mom & I posted flyers around our house at the local stores and i posted online ads on Craigslist and some of the lost dog sites. I also emailed the humane society and animal services.

I received an email from the Humane Society that one of their contacts saw my dog get picked up by animal services. My sons daycare told me the same thing. So. i called them and i described them and they told me they think they have them. So, my mom went and identified them (since i was at work). I went and bailed them out of "Doggie Jail" or more like "Doggie Hell". I had to pay $107 to get them out and was given 48 hours to take Max (Our Mastiff) to be checked out by a veterinarian cause they said he looked underweight and neglected.

So, we took him to the Vet today (another $56) and was told he looked fine for a dog his age and size. He weighs 111 lbs. He was 125 but he's getting older now.
The bigger the dog the shorter the life span. We were told he would only live to be between 8 and 10 years old.

As for the cell phone place i went to the other day (when i thought i lost my cell phone) I attempted to return the sim card i bought to replace the one i thought i lost. The guy had told me he would put a stop on my old one so that nobody could use it and that my number was transferred to the new one. Well considering i found the phone - it never had a stop put on it. I advised the guy and he told me he didn't know why and that i could not return the sim card but that i could pick something else out in his store as trade. I asked him how much the cell phone covers were - since i could use a new one. He said - oh that will be an even trade. Well the cell phone cover was chinsy (not even real leather) and didn't fit properly on my razor phone. Considering i had no other options it would have to do. I looked up the accessories onlilne on the Tmobile website - to find out what i knew was true. The "leather cases" were only $12.99-$14.00. This guy not only sold me an imitaion - but ripped me off. I have to take the cover off to charge my phone and when i did the first time the cover even ripped a little on the plastic. Ughh!

Anyways... I could go on - but i won't. I need to brush off this bad karma and focus on good things.
